My maiden name is Abraham. There is actually quite a bit of historical information and research on the Abraham family, and very few mysteries until you get to Germany where my Great Great Grandparents came from. They were Gustav (b. 1850) and Christina (Carstens; b. 1854) Abraham, who immigrated here in 1873.
